Inspired Accidentally.

12-17-2011 (11:33pm)
I did not intended it but as i was looking for something good to turn myself into on TV, I watched a segment in GMA News TV called “Follow that Star”, yes, I know the title sounds pretty corny but it’s not the title that made me hooked; it’s the featured “star” there. It was Drew Arellano, I know him as a bubbly and somehow cute TV host of programs for the mass including Unang Hirit, Balik-Bayan, Rapsa, Weekend Getaway and others.
Well, he just kind of inspired me because of his lifestyle. He lives wisely. And the way he explains and narrates things there, you could really say that he knows things that others aren’t aware of including me. It’s not that he is smart, I don’t know. But I think so. It’s how he sees things in a very positive way. He runs every morning for an hour before going to Unang Hirit where he needs to be in the set at 4 am. And after that, he goes for a bike at 2 to probably 4pm. Once in my life, I thought of doing that as well but I am just too shy to go out and shout at every body that I want to get fit. I don’t know, maybe I’m just too paranoid.
Also, knowing the fact that he came from a good family who was able to give him good education in an exclusive boys school (Xavier School), he is not the typical cute “konyo” guy who’ll bombard you with so much English and tell to your face that, “ Hey, I’m rich. Treat me differently man.” And I saw that when he’s biking and he shows where he stops-over for a good buko juice drink and a piece of buko pie which costs 10 pesos (he is so delighted with that, to think the fact that I hate those little pies, cause it’s way different from the big pies here in Laguna. The little ones never tasted like real buko pies). He loves biking and motorcycling. He knows that these activities can take your life immediately for an accident (he even had his shoulders dislocated because of an accident in biking), yet he stated in a very cool manner, “It’s life eh. That’s how we live life. We should try things, new things.”
He said the things that I needed to hear as a frustrated successful woman especially in the field that I am bound to hug. He is actually a business graduate and he never realizes that he’ll be on the career that he’s in now. He stated that on the first days and months of his job, he thought of quitting ‘cause he realized that he doesn’t know what he’s doing (it’s not his field), you know, the jargons that usually confuses people who haven’t encountered it in the thing that he studied and so on. Yet, as time passed by, he learned to love his job; and I will never forget the thing that he said and the way he said it (full of sincerity and coolness). “If you want to be entertaining you should be entertained”. I know this sounds a little complicated but I figured that it should really be the way it is. And yes, he loves his job that is why he is sticking on it and I personally can see it whenever I see him work.
P.S. He also confirmed that anyone can host. It’s a skill to be learned. Anyone. It tells me that there are really things that I could get myself as a skill. Yet I haven’t figured out of what track I want to take. I think it’ll be a very long time to figure out for me.
P.S. again. He lives alone in a condominium. And I think that he really has a way of explaining things in a humorous manner. One of the reasons for choosing to be alone in a condo without anyone but himself is the capability to watch TV naked. Hahaha.

Still.

(12-10-2011)
Still. Everything is very still now. Just the sound of the clock ticking behind me. And the silent sound of our dog’s cry due to the coldness outside. I am home; taking a break from the busy and loud life of Manila. The silence that is wrapped around me tonight is calming, like a towel pressed on my skin after a cold bath. I can feel the coldness brought by the trees after a rainfall. Now, I can hear the hum of our refrigerator and it reminded me of my nights of vacation in school. The feeling when you don’t have to do something late at night to pass the next morning. Now I see the blackness of the night through the window in front of me, and I wonder of when can I watch the stars again while lying on the grass just like in my childhood days when we take a rest from playing hide and seek at 6 in the evening. I missed this.

One of the suvey moments for our thesis. It's been so hard pulling lycean people to be our respondents! It's really a plus if you have many friends around, buit in our case, some of them are strangers for us. We got them BTW, hahaha. Well, that's an Abcomm charm I guess. hihi.
Also, we didn't have a permanent room for the film  showings that day, so it turned out that we waited for the available rooms, so we can bring them the kids to watch. Fortunate of us I guess. haha.

Yes! Paul s one of the actors of our plagiarism film. He was see by Lyceans so often! yeah! that's Paul is so pogi I guess. hahaha.

My thesismate MOnica, actually among the hree of us, she is the one who is so conscious of the time for our thesis to finish, I wsh i could adapt that too.

The one there is Rash, our friend from CITHM. A very nice cutee. I met him when I served as a photographer for MR and Ms. Lyceum 2010 and we found him very humble and a little shy. I really like him, cuz whenever we pull him up for something, he immediately go with us. hihi. We are so makulit kasi! hahaha.

That's me surveying a student... He looks bored a oh! hahha.

Thanks to Charmie and Cherry, our friend from CBA, theyre so niceeee as well. WE can rely on them in all times.

And that's my lovely and hot thesismates. I so love them both, I really miss them now that we don't see each other so often unlike the other times. We thank God, for giving us the opportunity to wok together on a special task. :D
Now that finally our thesis is finished, its a helluva lot of brain rest baby... hahahaha.

LIBARY OVERTIMEEE

This is just one of the haggard days that we experienced in our thesis, thank God we all surmounted it all! The pressure was really high these day, so we get to stay overtime at the library and we even ordered food from Mc Do. Hilarious people. Nonetheless I enjoyed it! I think it's really fun working together with the tikbas! hihi.

So dang hungry when the food arrived. Very nice eating junkfood in these types of days. It's like a little eawd from the effort that you gave.

Ugh... FOOOOD!

Yep, yep... the thesis mates who I thnk are the ones who gave it all for their paper. It's just the two f them man! SO galing! Everytime I see them from LB, they looked really worn out and energy deprived.

As you can see, they we are, the other students are leaving ad we still stayed 'til the libaia approached us.

Nona ad Joysie. Yeah, you can really tell NOna is so ejoying her Mcdo. haha. She loves it!

Masa and mami. The ever helping couple to me. They're really nice.

Yip, yip. It's Joey, so cute.

Jonas, was actually the one who told me to take pictures cuz he will post in on his blog. where s it Jonas?

That's me who came all the way from the far able to here. Is food ma, I'll go anywhere for it.haha.

Ang Babae sa Septic Tank

This was the last scene. So bitin! :(

In the past few months, I lost my interest in watching local mainstream films, so I honestly thank the mainstream movie industry for showing an indie film from Cinemalaya in theaters (nationwide!) Yay! I am an AB Communication student and with the films that were shown to us by our professors with the gist that indie films are more “soulful” than the mainstream ones made us excited when we are given the chance  to watch one. And this is it! “Ang babae sa septic tank” was shown and we watched!
I like that the movie has that not so complicated story with so much twist and turns, which is new for me. The story just goes around the making and pre-production of an indie film with these two young film makers and their production assistant brainstorming on the script of the film and the actress to hire. Fortunately, Ms. Eugene Domingo was the one very apt for the role.
This film has a casual-impact on me. I can’t decipher what that really means, but in my own dictionary, that means the film was done casually to have a more biting impact to its viewers. The actors portrayed the typical indie actor, knowing the fact that they are actually celebrities. And for me, as a celebrity, having the opportunity to cast in an indie film helps them express what their talent can reach, the “as is, where is” peak. As what Ms. Eugene said, VERY HARD.
What I am about to add here, you could see it in the film. So better watch it, it will have a more biting explanation of what I want to express. Haha.

Sports Deny Me

This photo was taken way back when we were practicing for our Buhay Echosera play. This was a break time, uhm, well I dunno if this really is break time. Haha.
Personally, I think that I am not a sporty person which is too bad. I guess it’s just that I have no time, or haven’t allotted any time to do sports. Also, the people around me are not really into it, so for me, why bother right? Actually, I know how to play basketball, badminton, table tennis and a little bit of chess; but it honestly frustrates me that I am not good in doing any of that; it’s just like, I know how to play it and that’s it. So whenever I get to compete with any person, I am always the loser. L Nothing new. Same old, same old.
Well, for me not experience same old, same old anymore, I’ll try to be bold, be bold. J
I badly want to learn lawn tennis; I think it’s cool.

Roch's turn

This was the time when Roch unexpectedly treated me for a Buko Express, which is considered not really a treat but a payment for the money he owed me few months ago.
Nona and Yvonne got slightly jealous that time. Hahaha!

When Yvonne asked for a "sip of Buko" to Roch. Look at Roch's face!

Nona and Yvonne didn't let themselves out so they bought Gulamans to Master Siomai.

Nona saying, "Akala nyo kayo lang ha?" hahaha!

Yvonne's winning moment.

Nona the short-skirted girl.
